The Menorah Project was created in 2024 in honor of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The menorahs serve as a prayer for peace and justice, inspired by Hanukkah’s enduring message of hope and the triumph of light over darkness.
This series of eight ceramic menorahs celebrates the eight days of Hanukkah, with each piece uniquely designed to reflect the themes of light, resilience, and renewal. Each piece is both functional and symbolic, inviting reflection on the balance between individuality and collective ritual, past and present.
Through this work, I aim to hold space for compassion and solidarity in the face of suffering, while reflecting on the role of art in fostering understanding and resilience.
